God’s Providence in the Midst of Chaos: A Priest at the Pentagon on 9/11
Barely three months ordained, Fr. McGraw was running late for a graveside service
at Arlington Cemetery on the morning of Sept. 11th, 2001 when he took what he thought
was a “wrong turn,” ending up in standstill traffic in front of the
Pentagon. What happened in the world-changing moments that followed convinced
him that Someone had placed a Catholic priest, an instrument of salvation, right
where he had to be.
